Comment: Chris is a great professor to have - if you're interested in video games. He takes the 'media' part of film and media studies to let him use video games in the class. If that's intriguing, take his course!

Comment: I'm also not sure where the bad ratings for Justin are coming from. He was a great, easy going professor to have for R1B, the readings were light and the films we watched were awesome. Highly recommend.

Comment: Great class discussions, VERY LITTLE WORK, only 2 or 3 essays and the weekly readings were interesting and 2 easy extra credit assignments. Grading didn't seem very point oriented, which freaked me out in the beginning, but just go with the flow and participate and it's an easy and enjoyable A. cool movies too!

Comment: Prof. Carpenter is super enthusiastic about Film and analyzing texts! She's a fun professor that allows students to direct the class. Sometimes, the class may run amok and gets a bit confusing as a result of the students taking control of the class, but discussion is always interesting and enlightening. The papers aren't too difficult, and office hours help out a lot with papers.

Comment: Great class, great guy. Never a dull moment in this class. Topics change, so just make sure that you are interested. It's always nice to find a class and/or a professor that makes you think; this did both. No exams, just papers that are designed for the adjustment period into college, giving you plenty of feedback. On top of that, Jonathan is extremely approachable and genuinely interested in your doing well. The discussions in class were always very far out, if you will, and left me only with a smile. Definitely requires more work than German per se, but I'd say its worth it.
