Comment: Wonderful professor and class! He was so passionate, detailed, clear and concise and often humorous. Don't be intimidated to see him in office hours, he is actually a very nice guy.

Comment: History of the Holocaust with Efron was possibly my favorite class I have taken so far at Cal. Lectures are all very interesting and the exams are very fair. 10/10, would recommend.

Comment: Probably the best history class I've ever taken in my life. Professor Efron conveyed the information clearly and accurately without making me feel emotionally drained by the end of the lecture. I learned that there's so much more to the Holocaust than the Nazis and have a greater appreciation for the Jewish culture. Exams are incredibly fair (especially for an upper division course) and Efron is awesome during office hours. TAKE THIS CLASS!

Comment: OMG Ben is a dork! I love Ben! He is so dorky and funny sometimes. Even though this class is called The History of the Holocaust, Ben doesnt make it seems like it sounds. This class is not depressing at all, and I enjoy the readings he assigned. BUT the exams were hard because there exist NO study guide, so basically you have to know everything and everything by heart to be able to get an A on the exam. The final was hard for me even though I basically knew everything, but the chronology fucked me over.
