Comment: This is a wonderful class for bio majors, and Firestone is a great professor. He really tries to get you to think about the concepts, no memorization as all exams are fully open note. This class has made me more passionate about hormonal pathways and research, and I found that it was very interesting. Firestone can get a little rambly during lecture, but your GSI should clear everything up in discussion and review sessions. They were all very generous with grading. Again, big emphasis on actually learning and understanding, and I'd highly recommend this class!

Comment: This is a very experimentally-based class. After you take this class you'll feel like you have a purpose in research. This is a really great class, really good for those who want to go on to grad school.
