Comment: Sohn is by far the most chill 107 Professor. Lecture was less about the ME 107 content and more about just helping senior standing students in general with tips on grad school, presentation skills, etc. She tries not to waste your time during lecture and usually ends it short. Great enthusiasm and willingness to help on the outside, but will not go out of her way if it involves more time outside lecture

Comment: Basically a writing class with writing assignments. Pretty boring and nobody attended lectures. Most of the assignments are pointless. Probably should take with Sohn

Comment: With Prof. Sohn I learned to machine when my group made a roll car. We had a really good project group, so the project did not take much time, but for other groups it did.

Comment: This is not a one-man show class; it is all about communicating effectively with your group members and everyone doing their part. It is definitely a worthy senior capstone design class with the Design of Experiment (DoE) in the end which is something opposite of passively following the instructions and writing a report that closely matches the "benchmark report". From this class, I've learned that a good group is not created, but you create a good group.

Comment: Took 107 with Chen. He's a nice guy and all, but he just doesn't have a presence in the classroom. That being said, he's a fairly good teacher and works hard to get the concepts of DoE across.

Comment: Required course... you have to take it. You spend all your time on two labs. Anwar doesn't make things too painful.
