Comment: Very nice professor, and he is really enthusiastic about what he teaches. He is totally flexible, so you can talk to him if you're having any difficulties. Most of the time, he's somewhat monotonous, but he sometimes surprisingly gives out hilarious jokes. His grading of the papers are really to improve you and he grades you according to your effort, so go to his office hours and show him that you're interested!

Comment: Professor Walsh is amazing! He truly understands students. For some reason a few students classes overlapped with another by half an hour and he didn't mind excusing them early. He also was very lenient with the wait list (I was 5th in a 18 person class and managed to be the extra 20th). He also is understandable and LOVES what he teaches and helps you learn to love it too. Furthermore, he makes grammar/writing and reading to be very fun. The assignments are easy, but some are a bit redundant. However, even if you do not so great on papers, he understands that you try and grades based on effort and improvement, rather than actual writing rubrics. He truly wants to help students with their writings and OH with him is very helpful. He gives very neat writing techniques. :)

Comment: Walsh is really disorganized but genuinely cares about the students and will help you with anything if you go to office hours. Class is pretty boring but an easy A.
