Comment: The professors for this course were amazing, but the exams were really difficult. Make sure to now all the pathways presented and do past exams if you can.

Comment: I had Winoto and Coscoy, and winoto was definately the better teacher. Though his accent it tough, his assignments are pretty straight forward. His powerpoints are also very concise which is nice compared to Coscoy who just adds slides on slides for no reason. IT makes studying simple when you only have to scroll through 30 slides a day versus 100. Winoto is very thoughtful with his presentations. His assignments were similar to the midterm. also you must KNOW YOUR FACS PLOTS. midterms are 70% facs plots. Also, know the different diseases he goes over and how they affect the immune system. There's a generous curve to the class. the book is helpful when studying, especially since yahoo answers isn't there to help anymore.

Comment: He is hard to follow and his lectures are very detailed, but this makes for less book reading. His problem sets were tough, but fair and helped prepare for the midterm. His midterms are usually tough, but try to find an old one so you can see what he tests on. The types of problems he uses are the same every year.

Comment: It's a bit difficult to understand his accent. (Think of a typical Asian Dad accent.) He is clearly knowledgeable about the information. But at the same time, he doesn't really explain things well. It seems as if he bulldozes quickly through the concept, and then follows up by asking, "Any questions?" I'm pretty sure most of the class has to end up asking their GSI's for better explanations and a more thorough, slower run-through. The exam was a little tricky.

Comment: Super hard exams and hard to understand. He cares a lot about his work but is subtly disrespectful to students.
