Comment: I thought zworski was an awesome lecturer, he really emphasized important concepts and reading the book (I thought the book wasn't that great personally) after lecture made concepts much easier for me to understand. Zworski also has a cool accent, imo, so bonus! But overall, I had a good learning experience in this class because I came out feeling like I learned quite a bit in math which is always satisfying. It also helped I had a great GSI, shoutout to Saad! I think my GSI made my experience so much better because he was always patient and helpful, with straightforward answers, and never judgemental. He even had office hours on friday evening! In terms of difficulty, his exams weren't super difficult, but they were definitely much harder than the book problems. There were a few proofs, but it was relatively straightforward, and his curve was very nice. I think he curved to a B in the fall unlike most professors who curve to a B-, so although I did below average on the first midterm, I was able to come out with an A-. I did have to work pretty hard and spent a great deal of time though. TLDR, take him! He's a great professor, and hope your gsi is cool.

Comment: All around wonderful professor. His lectures are very helpful, and he is a pleasant, funny professor. In office hours, he is incredibly patient and willing to help. Watch out for the last two weeks of the class, which is when he covered Green's, Stokes', and Divergence Theorem. I wish we had sped up some other parts of the curriculum in order to have spent more time on the hardest parts of the course, but that is the nature of Multivariable. Overall, even though the class was tough for me, I will truly look back fondly on my experience in the course.

Comment: Zworski was hilarious and easily one of my favorite professors at Berkeley. He really made lecture worth attending unlike some previous math classes that I've taken here. Even though I didn't do too well in the class, I felt that everything was pretty fair as Zworski's exams were pretty straightforward. In terms of grades, I think Zworski leans a bit on the easy side and the people I knew that were in the class all did very well for the time that they put in.

Comment: Zworski had a great sense of humor to get us through lecture, and each lecture started with a review of the previous lecture to give a sense of continuity between the topics. I enjoyed that he both proved nearly everything that we learned (so that we may understand rather than merely trust the math) and did not demand any particularly hard/surprising proofs from us on the exams.

Comment: Zworski was great! Not the easiest professor, but he gives practice midterms/finals with the same format as the actual test. He did not ask for crazy proofs like some Math 1A profs, or for the annoying physics applications of 53. Lecture was mildly entertaining, and he cares for students. Could sometimes embarrass students for asking questions in lecture.

Comment: Math 118 was a good experience with Zworski. The HW for the class was worth 50% and it usually consisted of at most 4 problems. The rest of the grade was based on a midterm and final which were both of appropriate difficulty in the sense that so long as you paid attention in class and had a general understanding of the definitions and concepts, you were more than likely to do well. Zworski brought a positive attitude to class everyday even through some of the more boring material. He was always willing to stop for questions and clarify any proofs. My only qualm with lecture was that he would sometimes get lost in his own computation or lose track of himself in the middle of a proof as he would try to go without consulting his notes. The material towards the end of the course gets pretty abstract with Daubechies Wavelets and such, but Zworski knew the material was difficult and adjusted expectations as such. Overall I would take another class with Zworski again, I really appreciated his constant positivity and enthusiasm for the material.
