Comment: Class concepts can get confusing and difficult, but midterms and final are pretty easy and he's really forgiving

Comment: The GSI's were very helpful, and Berck always came to class ready to teach, his approach ti EEP is a very laid back, try-to-make-it-easy-to-understand kind of method, and if you do well on the Problem Sets and understand the concepts, the Final is very straight forward.

Comment: The Global Environmental Theme House program is a pretty neat community. You must complete a project per semester. The seminar is loosely an hour per week and guest lecturers come and give talks about their work. Sometimes, we go on field trips around the campus. For fall 2010 semester, we went kayaking in the Monterey Bay.

Comment: Peter is an incredible professor. While this course is only for the members of GETH it is great nonetheless. Most classes actually spent indoors will involve discussions about issues with long, funny, and intelligent exchanges between the two teachers. The class is worth it no that fact alone. Then there the field-trips: kayaking near otters and talking with various professors around campus or going to a farmer's market. Really, join GETH...totally worthwhile if only for this class.
