Comment: I don't think you can find a nicer and helpful professor in Haas than Frank Schultz. The guy always has a smile and is brilliant in terms of providing you direction in how to attack different cases. The workload is super light because there are no exams. There is 1 large consulting project that is 45% of your grade, 2 write-ups on your strengths and weaknesses during 2 of the 10 experiential exercises he does in class that is 15%, 15% participation, and 25% on a final paper. But that consulting project isn't a gimme. It's challenging, requires you to put in the time, and if you BS it, he'll catch it. You have to follow the format and type of style he prefers to get the A and you better catch on to his style quickly or else. That project requires a 5 minute presentation and 20 to 40 page paper that you do in a group about a campus organization and it requires a lot of time. That being said, since it is the only thing you do for the class outside of a few short papers, it is relatively fair and it's always a pleasure talking to Frank. Great professor, great class, would recommend if your willing to put in the time consulting an organization throughout the semester.

Comment: Professor Schultz is an amazing professor. He definitely is one of the best of the best. My only quirk about the course is the grade weight that is placed on a management simulation program. It is possible to execute the strategy techniques taught in the course and have people that have no idea what they are doing in the class do better than you at the simulation "game."
