Comment: This class was very interesting in teaching me the key systems of mitigating climate change and putting into perspective what policies were effective without a media spin. Be warned that homeworks involve a lot of tricky units. Exams were pretty conceptual.

Comment: very organized and structured class. attend all lectures, if you miss one get notes from a friend/classmate. each lecture is packed with information. missing one really can get you behind. Assignments are doable, GSI office hours are great for it.

Comment: Nazaroff is really into what's he's teaching. Lectures are interesting, definitely go. Missing one or two overall is okay, but don't miss more than that. Lectures are pretty dense. He has lecture notes he wrote 10 years ago that still apply, tho a bit out of order to what he's teaching now. Lots of material. Good class.

Comment: Nazaroff is one of the best professors I've ever had: he's the epitome of organization, he cares about his students, and you always know what to expect from him. And he's pretty charming and funny too! Sometimes the material can be a bit basic, but if you're interested in climate change at all, I'd definitely recommend this class.

Comment: CEE 111 is my favorite class I've taken, and Nazaroff is my second favorite professor at Berkeley. He is the epitome of organization. Everything from the course layout to his delivery of lectures is done with the utmost precision. It's clear he's been teaching for a long time, and he knows how to do it. Assignments and exams can be challenging, but definitely fair and usually interesting. Definitely, definitely recommend taking this class with him.

Comment: Meaningful homework, knowledgeable about his subject, witty lectures, and a helpful textbook (although I was able to learn most of the material just via lectures) makes Nazaroff a great professor.

Comment: Professor Nazaroff knows his stuff. He uploads everything on bSpace, which is good because you can't have too many resources, right? His exams tend to be a bit harder than expected in comparison to the homework and lecture material taught in class.

Comment: Awesome professor. If you're not interested in Environmental, he will make you interested. Lectures are intuitive, easy to understand, and very helpful. Homework is fair (though sometimes difficult) and exams are fair as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this class, and am taking 107 with him next semester.
