Comment: Her R1A course was fairly easy. She was VERY enthusiastic about the subject and encouraged, no, DEMANDED class participation, which made the discussions very interesting and productive. If you were shy (or tired) and the class goes quiet, she will pick on you though so talk once in a while and you'll be fine. :) There was not much homework, mainly reading and possibly think about one aspect and share in class discussion, but there was the three required essays as per Comp Lit R1A requirements. Highly recommended as the books we read were very interesting

Comment: She wasn't my grader, but she always made class more interesting with her energy and her fascination with the literature. From what I could tell, she graded a lot harder than mine, but I think she curved her half to make it more even.

Comment: I disagree with the person below. I found her very approachable and very willing to help me out with my writing. She wasn't nearly as organized as the other GSI we had, but she certainly knew what she was talking about. Has kind of an odd taste in literature though. Sees sexual undertones in everything.
