Comment: Very passionate about the subject and her GSI sat in on every single lecture and when he lectured he was even better (if that was possible). One in class midterm in which you can choose any three quotes to analyze, one essay for midterm, one midterm project, and one final paper. Overall pretty good class even though some material was pretty dry.

Comment: Donegan is awesome, midterms were slightly difficult with time constraints, but if you prepared you're fine. The final was a paper, so yeah. Donegan is slightly bossy, and has total swag.

Comment: Professor Donegan is pretty awesome! She was more than accommodating in office hours--definitely take advantage. 30% midterm (straight forward if you study), 10% 2 response papers, 20% revision paper, and 40% take-home essay final. All in all, great class and amazing professor!

Comment: The course offers an interesting insights into race and revision in US history that you might not have thought about prior and makes a solid case drawing from literature to do so. It's pretty interesting stuff even for a non-humanities major; the only drawback to the course really was that sometimes the professor, while super friendly and enthusiastic, sometimes started speaking the jargon of the material in such detail that it became difficult to know what exactly she was getting at! Overall, a positive experience however.
