Comment: Incredibly knowledgeable in the field, and has tons of great stories. Board work is so messy as to impede understanding of chemical structures. Pace is consistently slow, and names and structures of chemicals are densely packed into the lecture. For somebody with no toxicology and very little biology experience, there were few unifying frameworks upon which to organize the material. No homework, which is a blessing and a curse, in that the workload is low, but there is no reinforcement of the knowledge. Exams are odd, and contain quite a bit of parroting material in a multiple choice plus T/F format. Overall the class had some interesting spots but the slow pace and lack of overarching conceptual framework (IMO) lead me to not recommend the class.

Comment: Exams in this class are ridiculous-- they focus more on stupid, specific details about the history of toxicology rather than the actual application of real-world toxicological issues. Don't buy the book, just memorize the lecture slides.
