Comment: attend all lectures. especially if you are new to this subject. topic is a bit hard to really understand on your own. professor is enthusiastic sometimes a little weird. but cool.

Comment: Great professor. Very enthusiastic about the material. However, I felt that he simplified fluid mechanics a bit too much for us. The material in the textbook is more complex than the material taught in class. As a result, the textbook was not used very often. (For us, the textbook was Fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics by Munson). Exams were very fair and were based on what he taught in lecture. Go to lecture AND discussion! The lectures and discussions were very helpful for doing the hw and preparing for exams. As for labs, they weren't that bad for us. It depends on the grader each semester. Our reports were kind of long, but they weren't very difficult. You use to need to make it professional (ex: consistent formatting, easy to read, well organized, detailed, relevant, etc.).

Comment: Very solid professor..he told the class he aims for about a 90% average on his exams (and it always is). The lab reports can be somewhat time-consuming, so don't leave them to the night before as our group did, or you'll be up all night.

Comment: One of the best professors I have had! He shows so much excitement for fluid mechanics making the class material even more interesting. His teaching style is centered around explaining the underlying conceptual idea as a foundation and building from there to really aid students' comprehension. His exams are fair but can be a little tricky, fully understanding the homework is very helpful in doing well on his exams.
