Comment: Disorganized, random class with no purpose it seems. Easy A totally, but it really seemed like the prof and GSIs didn't exactly know what they were doing. Meh, I'd hate it more if it weren't so easy. No exams too!

Comment: Most useless class so far. Material is very boring. Matsui doesnt even teach there are always guest lecturers. Take it to fulfill the breadth because there are basically no assignments and homework. Extremely easy if taken P/NP

Comment: MCB 15 was a relatively painless way of getting rid of the Bio Breadth, and I absolutely hate Biology. There are no quizzes or exams, three blog posts, and one final project which result in about 10 hours of work outside of class and ultimately will get you an A. The class may or may not be interesting depending on who you are and your major. What sucks the most is that attendance is "mandatory" in the sense that you have to sign in. However, a good chuck of people would just leave after the sign in sheet had been passed around. Ultimately the class is of little stress, and is a great way to give your GPA a slight boost. :)

Comment: Very insightful class examining the gap between the public and science. No quizzes or test. Three blog posts, a group presentation, and a final brochure project. The class consists of guest lecturers on three current health topics. John Matsui is an inspiring lecturer - he only speaks for a couples of lectures though. The other lecturers were interesting as well - definitely a variety of opinions and perspectives. The GSIs are great! It is a highly recommended class - not demanding at all!
