Comment: Solid professor. Lab assignments are fairly stimulating and really the crucial part of the course in terms of understanding the material. graded fairly harshly, but exams were not that bad and graded easily. overall a very chill class with a fun project to 3d print a wind turbine.

Comment: Lectures aren't really worth it; labs are pretty helpful if you utilize the GSIs. Homework was pretty easy to do (a few points missed every assignment for trivial things, but you'd generally get an A). STUDY OLD PRACTICE EXAMS! Youssefi tends to reuse some questions and it can be a great way to save time, as they're never very hard, they're always just a bit of a time crunch.

Comment: E28 is a very chill class if you put some time in practicing AutoCad/Solidworks. Youseffi's lectures are pretty dull but all of his slides have an abundance of information so studying off those is recommended. The final project seemed pretty simple (read: not worth the time put in) but the final "competition" was actually pretty fun and it was really cool to see what other teams came up with!

Comment: Ahh, Youssefi at 8 AM. That sleep-inducing period of time when extremely interesting topics can come across as boring as snail racing. It's a good class, 122, just one that needs a more charismatic professor.

Comment: It's a fine class. The two exams are pure memorization, but the 3 projects (3-D printing, waterjet, and CNC milling) you do over the semester are excellent and a chance to be creative within the material constraint. Definitely a solid ME elective choice even for those who are not MechE.

Comment: Depending on the professor you work for, it could range from near-zero work except for the last day of the semester to working 9~10 hours a week.
