Comment: awesome instructor, very passionate about theater, however, prepare to work some work for this 1 unit seminar. you will learn a lot. and i agree it sometimes gets boring, since theres only one subject we are talking about and like over and over ... but still, very nice professor!

Comment: This was a decent class. His stories were very interesting and he definitely knew what he was talking about. However, the class felt kind of unnecessarily long; it was not uncommon to find students sleeping because of how long it was. But he was a very nice and genuine teacher, as well as very knowledgeable about theater in general.

Comment: Dr. Ogden is a genuine, experienced Emeritus professor. He very much is concerned about the students themselves, just as much as he is concerned about the subject. The 10-page monologue sounded intimidating at first, but it truly allows for the students to think creatively and to express themselves through another character. I loved this class! :D

Comment: I joined this class at the last minute because I needed an extra unit, but it ended up being one of my favorite classes! Ogden genuinely cares about his students and always wanted to know our opinions of teachers, classes, etc. He is very approachable and just generally nice. Yes, there is some work involved- reading a novel, 10 page monologue- but it's worth it!

Comment: Professor Ogden loves this subject. You only have one assignment, which is a ten page creative monologue, and he asks you to do some reading and go see a play or two. I personally love the Little Rock Nine, so I found this course interesting, but it might not be as fun if you don't.
