Ratings for Koziol, G
Based on 3 ratings for this instructor.
Comment: He was most of the time condescending towards me. He brushed aside my questions and made me feel stupid about them. I think they were valid questions, and that he has attitude. It was only after a while until he told me what he thought was wrong with me. Instead he should have actively worked patiently with me to improve what he thought was my problem. He should feel free to criticize me, but do so in a more encouraging and nurturing manner. By far, he is the most unprofessional instructor with whom I've interacted.

Comment: Let me clear 1 thing up right now. Professor Koziol does not write the tests. Prof. Koziol lectures 3 times a week, holds office hours, and other than that, you will likely never interact with him in any other way. Exams are written by your GSI's who draw from discussion. Koziol tends to ramble, but if you enjoy history, his lectures are rather enjoyable. I suggest you walk into this class with a general understanding of the period he is teaching. Also, he has a terribly strict electronics policy. Watch out for that.
