Comment: Unfortunately, Professor Lindberg retired and will not be teaching IB41 anymore (shame D: ). He was really passionate about what he studied and it really showed through this class.

Comment: Dr. Lindberg's class has its ups and its downs. He's a good professor, but the material can sometimes be dry. There is a lot of material that is interesting and then there is a lot of material that isn't. There are no assignments which is a good thing, but the only problem with exams is that unless you take word for word notes in lecture, it's hard to study for. Some of the questions on the exams were something he mentioned once for a minute in one lecture which seemed pretty unfair. Overall, not a intolerable class to take.

Comment: So this class is nice because there are just two midterms and a final. There is also a lot of room since not a lot of people show up to lecture which is also nice. The subject is just really fun and you learn a lot of cool things during this course. Lindberg has done a lot of interesting research and has a lot to offer. The exams are the same ones every semester. They aren't too bad but there is stuff that wasn't covered in lecture on them and you don't have additional assignments so I'm not exactly sure how would be able to know the material. Sometimes there are extra resources but I didn't usually find any test material in them. There are opportunities for extra credit. And the tests are curved. Also attend class regularly it is interesting plus he really doesn't like it when people skip class. We had a pop quiz the day before Thanksgiving so you really do want to attend lectures. This class does not require a ton of work. I took it just for fun and I am certainly glad I did. This was my favorite class this semester.
