Comment: Heard that if you used the solution manual, she would give you a C.

Comment: GSI Luke Miratrix was VERY helpful and reviewed over what Bhatnagar taught us as a mini-lecture during section. He also did hands-on problems that related to real-life scenarios which was very helpful.

Comment: She is a terrible teacher with terribly useless lectures. Her lectures have little to do with her exams and are extremely boring. Sections are treated as basically Q&A sessions since the GSI have no idea what is going on in the class. Avoid this class unless you have absolutely no choice.

Comment: The instructor was quite nice, willing to correct mistakes and always announcing any corrections to help clarify things. Lectures were quite helpful (if you have not taken a statistics course before, I highly suggest attending her lectures), one bit of advice is to sit closer to the front as her voice can be soft. One issue, however, is that while most of her lectures are useful, occasionally she will mathematically prove certain concepts; these proofs are rather arduous, taking up a lot of class time and fairly confusing. Fortunately, they are not too significant to the course, and you can understand them with one or two trips to office hours. Additionally, one should be warned that homework grading is taken very strictly; I found it more difficult to gain high grades on homework than on the exams. Do not leave it to the last day, work on it early, and go over it with your GSI, and you will do well. Exams are fair, but are definitely a notch in concept above your average examples in class; know your concepts, write out a proper notes sheet for the midterms, and you will do fine.

Comment: Assignments were straight out of the book, but the book was hard enough to understand. The teacher doesn't know how to teach. Very few people could follow her. Exams were ok, but not great.

Comment: Speaks very soft! Writings are hard to see sometimes. Knows the stuff; however, she doesn't KNOW how to teach at all. nearly everyone was confused with the materials. practice mid-terms and real-midterms are different stories. no surprises? well, i doubt it.

Comment: Clear on the material, HW assignments are fairly easy compared to the exams. Exams are definitely difficult, but there aren't really any surprises on them; just study hard and be prepared, course grades were curved when I took it.
