Comment: I love Josh Hug!! He is one of the most down-to-earth and genuinely enthusiastic professors I've had. Don't underestimate cs10 as an easy A though, as some of the later homework assignments and the tests are pretty challenging. However, the teaching staff is very available and helpful, so as long as you utilize your resources you will be fine. Overall amazing class to take regardless of whether you are studying CS.

Comment: Do NOT underestimate this class. It may not be the 61-series, but it is still a Computer Science course and it is appropriately difficult. I loved Professor Hug! He was always so helpful and enthusiastic and the TAs were just fantastic! It's a great environment to dip your toe into CS and I ended up loving it and doing quite well. The exams are difficult though so make sure to study thoroughly and know your stuff.

Comment: One of the best lower-div professors. Hug's lectures are worth attending even if you know the material.

Comment: even though this class was pretty challenging, i think most people actually really liked prof hug. he is really witty and actually kept lectures engaging. at the end of the day, he actually tried pretty hard to give everyone a good experience with 61b. i would definitely try to take another class with him

Comment: Exams too hardly graded but otherwise an excellent professor. Assignments were long and time consuming.

Comment: Great professor. Project 2 (Gitlet) was killer though. Exams were quite difficult but not as difficult as Hilfinger's exams. Josh Hug is an amazing professor with a great style of teaching. Learnt a lot overall. Projects were more closely related to real-life than Hilfinger's projects. Must take with Josh Hug!

Comment: Too good, too good. but be prepared, his class is definitely comparable to Hilfinger's version of 61B. I made a mistake by underestimating this class... But this guy is the man. TAKE TAKE TAKE
